She travels extensively in the New York metropolitan region in Colonial costume teaching about colonial American history and Ben Franklin's invention, the Glass Armonica. She does concerts and recitals in and around Arizona and is editor of the quarterly journal, "Glass Music World." http://www.glassharp.org Brien Engel -- Brien travels throughout the U.S. and internationally with his set of water-tuned musical glasses doing presentations in schools and libraries on his large collection of strange and interesting instruments. He is, among other things, a passionate student of the Mbira, a kind of thumb piano from Zimbabwe. Brien has recently released a CD of his music. This is one of only two manufacturers in the world of bowls for the Ben Franklin Glass Armonica. The late Gerhard Finkenbeiner is acknowledged as one of the major reasons for theresurgence of interest in glass music. The firm's instruments are made of non lead-bearing quartz glass and have been purchased by musicians around the world. Finkenbeiner, Inc. He travels extensively doing glass music programs throughout the east.
